Griffith Halls of Residence (GHR) is open to any student in Dublin. Just 20 minutes walk from St. Stephen’s Green in Dublin’s city centre, GHR’s enviable central location is ideal for students studying at any of Dublin’s third level institutions. Our apartments have been sensitively designed to complement and reflect the historical significance of the campus as a whole, while offering comfortable, modern living with 24-hour security for residents. GHR is built in two blocks which consist of 165 apartments and provide accommodation for over 600 students during the academic year and over the summer months.

GHR’s facilities and location is ideal not just for Griffith College students, but also students attending any of Dublin’s universities or other third level institutions. We currently have students both Irish and International from Griffith College, Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT), Trinity College Dublin, NCAD, Dublin Business School (DBS), UCD, Royal College of Surgeons (RCSI) and many others.

Unlike other private accommodation providers, GHR can offer a lease specially catered to guests only wishing to stay for the Summer months. Don’t commit to yearlong leases when you don’t have to, try our Summer lease to allow you to get the full Summer experience in Dublin.

Based on Griffith College campus on the South Circular Road, Dublin 8, GHR is within walking distance of the city centre where most major educational institutions such as Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT), Trinity College Dublin, NCAD, Dublin Business School (DBS), Royal College of Surgeons (RCSI), BIMM, and many more are located.

Make sure you check out all the information below so your stay is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. We recommend you re-read the most important House Rules, a How To guide on all the facilities, and familiarise yourself with how to log maintenance issues so we can fix any items that may require attention during your stay.

Check In

Before you check in, all residents should complete a quick check in orientation and checklist. You will not be able to check in without this completed so to ensure your check in is as quick and smooth as possible please complete the below and bring your printed confirmation with you on arrival.

To Apply please complete your online application form and pay your application fee immediately. The application fee can be paid online via Laser, Debit or Credit Card (+2%) or by bank transfer. The Accommodation Office will accept application forms, from all students planning to commence/continue their course of study in Dublin or who have been made an offer of a college place. Places are allocated on a first come, first served basis.
