How do I apply?
Step 1 - Apply
Complete the online application form. Submit all your information. This will be used to match you with other students. i.e. Gender, College, Course etc.
Step 2 - Payment of Application Fee
Using the login information provided after submitting your information pay the €500 Application Fee. Due to the large volume of applications and limited spaces we will only consider applications that have paid an application fee. Payment online with a debit/credit card is the best method as it is the quickest.
Step 3 - Processing
We will endeavor to process your application in 24-48 hours but this may take longer during peak periods. Please note priority goes to Academic Year applicants.
Step 4 - Offer/Decline
If we are able to offer you a place you will receive an email requesting payment of rent & utilities. This can be paid in two installments or in one payment to avail of our full payment discount. Payment is to be made immediately otherwise the offer may be withdrawn.
If we are unable to offer you your room choice i.e. we have no single rooms available, then your application fee will be refunded in full.
If you choose not to accept our offer of accommodation the application fee is non-refundable.
Step 5 - Confirmation of Reservation
Once full payment or your first installment has been received your place is officially confirmed. You must then complete the mandatory Guarantee Form and schedule a check - in time.

Application Procedure for Academic Year 2011/2012
To Apply you must complete your online application form with your application fee immediately. The application fee can be paid online via Laser, Debit or Credit Card (+2%).
The Accommodation Office will accept application forms , from all students planning to commence/continue their course of study in September 2011 or who have been made an offer of a college place. Places are allocated on a first come, first served basis.
Cancellations:
If Griffith Halls of Residence do not offer a place for an applicant (allocation of place is on a ‘first-come, first-served’ basis, with 40 week applicants getting priority) a full refund of the Application Fee will be made.
Where a place is reserved and rejected by the applicant, this Application Fee is not refundable, irrespective of the circumstances*.
Please note: No refunds of rental fees paid will be made in the event of early vacation irrespective of the circumstances. In such event, your deposit is non-refundable and you are also responsible for paying all the rental charges for the entire duration of the lease.
