Griffith Halls of Residence (GHR) student accommodation is open to any third-level learner in Dublin. Just 20 minutes walk from St. Stephen’s Green in Dublin’s city centre, GHR’s enviable central location is ideal for students studying at any of Dublin’s third level institutions. Our apartments are sensitively designed to complement and reflect the historical significance of the campus as a whole, while offering comfortable, modern living with 24-hour security for Residents.
GHR student accommodation is built in two twin blocks which consist of 165 apartments and provide accommodation for over 660 students during the academic year and over the summer months.
Our student accommodation facilities and location are ideal not just for Griffith College students, but also for students attending any of Dublin’s universities or other third level institutions. We currently have students both Irish and International from Griffith College, Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT), Trinity College Dublin, NCAD, Dublin Business School (DBS), UCD, Royal College of Surgeons (RCSI) among others.

We offer the option of up-front payment (at a discounted rate) or payment over two installments.
Included in the price are all bills (heating, electricity, internet), crockery/cutlery, access to student services – counselling/wellness/GP and fitness room use (limited spaces).

Griffith Halls of Residence is just a few minutes by bus to Dublin city centre and most of the main shopping/nightlife hotspots on the Southside of the city are just a five minute bus journey/20 minute walk away.
Harcourt Street, Camden Street and Wexford Street are all within walking distance, with plenty of live music, clothing outlets, grocery stores and takeaway restaurants just around the corner.
To apply please complete your online Application Form and pay your Application Fee immediately. Your Application Fee can be paid online via Debit or Credit Card or by bank transfer. The Accommodation Office will accept Application Forms from all students planning to commence or continue their course of study in Dublin or who have been made an offer of a college place. Places are allocated on a first come, first served basis.
Potential residents who wish to stay at GHR are required to agree to abide by the terms as set out in the Community Values agreement. Students are emailed a copy of our Community Values agreement prior to their arrival.
Application Fees are non-refundable in the event of cancellation by the Applicant except where GHR is unable to offer you your choice of room type.
If you are a successful Applicant, your Application Fee will be used as your Security Deposit. The Security Deposit is refundable 4-12 weeks after the end of term assuming there is no loss or damage and as per the terms of the Community Values agreement. Applications are not valid unless they are accompanied by the Application Fee.
