What price are the rooms at GHR?

We offer several room types, each with their own pricing.

We offer several flexible pricing options depending on the length of your stay – we offer single semester pricing, single semester plus summer options in addition to our full academic year option.

Accommodation cost can vary depending on the institution you wish to attend. You can find a list of the colleges we cater for and their pricing structures on our homepage.

How do I secure a room?

Once you have applied, we require a 300 euro application fee, which will double as a security deposit once you have arrived. This will be returned to you after you check out provided there have been no breakages/property damage during your stay.

If you are staying for the whole academic year we require 55% of your total fee before check-in.

If you are staying for one semester only, we require the full payment before check in.

Is there a shop/restaurant on campus?

We have an on-campus restaurant here at GHR serving a variety of meals and drink options.

We also have a number of vending machines dotted around the residences.

Will I be roomed with my own gender?

You will always be roomed with someone of your own gender.

If you wish, you can opt to share an apartment with the opposite gender. The option to be placed in a mixed gender apartment will be presented to you on the application form.

Do you cater for residents with disabilities?

We have a number of rooms specifically designed to cater for differently abled residents.

Please be sure to specify that you would like to be accommodated in a disabled space on your application form.

What is not included in the price?

All pricing includes bills – WiFi, heating, electricity, water for example.

Students are responsible for acquiring their own TV licence (if they wish to have a television in their apartment). Information on obtaining a TV licence can be found here.

We provide crockery and cutlery and bed linen as optional extras. These will be available to select before check-in.

Are room contents insured?

Room contents are not automatically insured.

If residents wish to take out insurance on their belongings they may do so at their own cost and convenience.

Is there any paperwork I need to complete before I move in?

Prior to arriving you will be emailed two documents – a Community Values agreement and check-in form.
