Q. When should I expect my deposit?
Deposits will be refunded 4-12 weeks after the end of your lease. This is dependent on you following the check out procedure by returning any keys in your possession, completing a check out inspection and leaving your apartment in a clean condition. GHR will carry out a full apartment inventory check after the lease to ensure it is left in a good condition.
Q. How is the deposit paid?
Refund details will be sent to you with full details on how you will receive your refund after your stay.
Q. What if I want to extend my stay into the Summer or next Academic Year?
GHR is open for bookings all year round so please contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to extend your stay or come back another year. Remember, we can offer Loyalty Discounts for returning Residents so contact us for more details on this.

Q. What happens to post delivered to my apartment after I leave?
If we receive post for students who have departed we usually return this to sender to please ensure you change your address with you bank and other institutions before you leave to avoid missing out on important post
Q. What should I do with any of my unwanted belongings when I move out of GHR?
We work closely with many charities and donate any leftover items at the end of the year. If you have any unopened, unperishable food we can donate this to a local shelter, usually St Vincent de Paul. Any leftover electronics or cutlery/crockery, etc. will be collected and offered to the next set of students arriving in GHR.
Q. What can I do with leftover coins that I can’t change back to my own currency?
If you have leftover coins, you often cannot exchange this back into a foreign currency. In this case you can done your coins to the collection in the Accommodation Office which will be donated to charity at the end of the year.
Q. What can I do with my mobile phone if I don’t want to bring this back to my home country?
If you bought a phone just to use in Ireland and do not want to bring this back to your home country, you can donate this to the Accommodation Office which is given to the Jack and Jill Foundation which is a local children’s charity
